Book nerd and detail-obsessed planner, I live for beach days, I'm always in a sundress, and I am a total wannabe crunchy mom.
ONCE UPON A TIME...
I was a cashier at Target, wondering if I could really work for myself after graduating college.
I was almost done with my business degree, but the corporate world didn't feel like it was the right fit for me. I loved photographing people and making them feel beautiful and seen. Traveling brought a deep joy to my life, and I also adored my soon-to-be husband, Justin, and wanted to spend as much time with him (and our future kids) as possible... I just didn't see how I could really make a full-time salary from my little photography side hustle. I continued to study for my exams and get good grades while building my business on the evenings and weekends.
Then I finally took the leap and became a full-time wedding & portrait photographer.
I remember praying and asking the Lord if this was the right path for me and my future family. I took a leap of faith and trusted that if it was, He would provide... and He did.
My business has taken me to the most magical over the last 10 years... shoots and conferences in France, Mexico, Colorado, Washington, and California to name a few! It's been a dream come true.
Now I spend most of my time chasing my toddler around in the Florida sunshine, squeezing in a wedding gallery editing session here and there while booking a small handful of shoots and weddings for select families and couples. I love being able to provide an intimate and unforgettable experience with my photography clients.
Motherhood is the best thing that's ever happened to me, and I've built my business to support being present for my family.
